If you're ever in a public washroom stall for a while, you'd be surprised at how many people are disgusting that way. There was a study done about this a while back and they found that sporting events had the lowest amount of hand washers anywhere, at about 1/3 the washroom users. More women washed up than men.
THAT is one place where you shouldn't be shaking people's hands.

You know what I most certainly agree with you. It just makes me and my whole family want to throw up!! But the bad thing about it is if you don't wash your hands EVERY TIME you go to the bathroom then you can get sick or get other people sick from diseases or other terrible things like that. Even STD's can be shared through dirty hands! YIKES!!

This has got to be my biggest pet peeve. It's really just a filthy habit. I can't speak for men, as I'm a woman, so I use the women's bathroom in public places, but I get SO SICK of seeing women come out of the stall, run their hands through their hair, and walk out the door. WTF is that? "Honey, your **** is just as dirty as anyone elses...get your butt back over to the sink and wash your hands, you nasty skank!" Then I have to go out behind them and touch the door handle. Not usually a problem if there's a papertowel dispenser, but in the bathrooms that have only air dryers...(shudder)

Don't get so upset.It is their food that they are eating. So maybe their hands are dirty but their hearts may be cleaner than yours. And the heart is more important . How is yours ? Is it filled with anger and hate ? Is it respectful of women ? Is it a heart of love and kindness ?
How about your mouth ? Is it filthy with bad cuss words? So yes maybe their hands are dirty - and yours clean but there are other factors that are more important. I would rather sit with someone with dirty hands then a dirty mouth or heart.

ALWAYS wash your hands, no matter what! Or at least use hand sanitizer immediately afterwards! It's their fault there's so much disease spreading in the world, the sickos.

Its totally sick. My daughter whos four always wants to use public bathrooms whenver we go out to eat and I explain over and over that God knows whats touched what and now were going to go finish eating. I always, always, always carry purell in my purse.
