growing white hair is genetic. One of your parents probably started growing white hair at an early age. You should ask

When you say "white hair" I'm not sure if you mean "gray hair" on your head. But if you do, it's nothing to worry about and it is genetic. I started getting gray hair when I was 14 and now I'm 43, but I still have alot of dark hair too.

Premature greying of hair is genetic, but can also be caused by poor nutrition such as lack of protein, excessive worrying and vitamin deficiencies. Smoking can cause premature greying as well. Some diseases can cause premature greying, such as pernicious anemia, hyper/hypo-thyroidism, leukemia, osteopenia, progeria and pangeria. Premature greying is defined as grey onset before age 20 in Caucasians, before age 25 in Asians, and before age 30 in blacks. It isn't linked to any one nationality or race.

It could be many things or a combination of things. Stress, genetics, diet, exposure to certain chemicals to name a few. Don't fret unless you start prematurely balding. If you are truly concerned, contact your doctor or a dermatologist.

my mother always told me that if u grow white hair early it is because ur maturing faster than others n that ur getting smarter. i think that if it as common in ur family for maby ur decendents when they were young they had white hair than their is a great possibility that ur going to get it but if it doesnt run in the family than maby u should go down into research or go to a docter to get ur answer

I had them at age 7. Its just genetic. My grnadfather swore that they come from using deodorant soap but I'm not sure about that.
