walk walk walk, walking is one of the best exercises, but at a fast pace, i believe it's somethin like u should be able to do 2 miles in 30 minutes or less for it to be considered a good work out that will do anything for u, sit ups, crunches, and just eating healthy, and believe it or not, not eating doesn't actually make u lose weight, eat a sensible 3 meals a day, cuz if u don't ur body doesn't have what it needs to lose the weight, w/o eating u don't have the right energy and things u need to lose the bad weight

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.
*Click on all the source links below to get the full benefit of the recommendations. i'm in the same situation. i've been eating a little oatmeal n fruit in the morning then biking to most of my daily activities. also eat less meat and make it lean. fruits n veggies are good and also eat some carbs cause its not healthy to entirely eliminate them. not only did i drop about 7-8 lbs., but you also feel alot better and kinda refreshed at the end of the day. the first couple days are hard. good luck!

Stay away from the junk food, like chips, pop, chocolate bars, slushy's, anything greasy. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables instead of junk food. Walk a lot, maybe do a few situps each day. And above all, love yourself no matter what.

Well if you are trying to slim down the thigh and hip area you can take a broom put it over your shoulders like you would any normal wieght bar and do some squats, make sure your feet are parallel with your shoulders, when you do these squats make sure you go down till your thighs are horizontal, you want to do deep squats. Aways make sure you stretch before you start. Now when you are done with this you can also do twists with the broom...keeping it up on your shoulders and feet still parallel with your shoulders twist sde to side, you can also take your right hand down to your left foot and vissa-versa. Now if you are wanting to work your arms and chest you can take ordinary cans of veggies from your moms kitchen and stand up or lay down, if you are standing up you can let your hands hang to your side and lift up the cans to your side till your ams are striaght out, now your can be creative and figure out what the best work out is for you. trust me you will feel the burn. As for crunches fro the mid area.....you can lay down cross your legs and put them stright up in the air and start your crunching with hands up high on your chest or behind your head. Try to eat more veggies and fruit and keep your carbs to a minimum( bread, potatoes, chips, ext)......but at your age dont cut them out your body needs some for energy. Also drop the soda its not good for you and not really nessasary. Drink plenty of water even juice...I love to drink water with lemon or lime juice in it. and start walking, riding your bike, swimming and enjoying your health.
