I like to squeeze them so that I know that they are firm and have plenty of bounce. I don't want to have to work on the ball later once I get home. I just want it to be ready to play with. Doesn't that make sense.

A good ball must be firm, yet yielding. Many things in life are like that. I wish I had become a plastic surgeon years ago!

Well it would look strange if everyone started licking the balls in the shop..

I always try before I buy. I'd only regret it if I bought a ball and it wasn't firm enough.
