I am assuming the Old Testament was written for historical evidence for the Jews or Children of Hebrew. The New Testament for the new Jews and then the "gentiles" or non-believers. Can anyone give me more documentation about this?

Considering that the Old Testament has historical type accounts, poetry, and philosophical type stuff, then in a broad summary, it can be said the the Old Testament reveals the plan and evidence of God (Yahweh) in action.

For the New Testament, it's a document of Jesus, and instructions for Godly living, ie Christians, whether originally Jews or Gentiles. Book of Revelation is a whole other story.

The New Testament is grouped as the following...

4 Gospels
Acts
Bunch of personal letters or "open forum" type letters to different churches and other folks, - mostly from Paul
Revelation

The Bible was written for the benefit of all humankind. The 'Old' Testament was written when the Israelites were God's chosen people, and by the Law of Moses they were elevated above the surrounding peoples because of the high moral standards and logical regulations found therein. However, the Law was a foregleam of the comming of Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the law. When Jesus Christ came to Earth and offered up his perfect life as a ransom sacrifice, ALL of humanity had the possibility of an approved standing before Jehovah God. The 'New' Testament, or Christian Greek scriptures, was written for the benefit of all people, and was in harmony with prophecies found in the Hebrew scriptures. So while the Old Testament was written when the Jews were God's specifically chosen people, they are in harmony with the New Testament and therefore are beneficial. Read 2 Timothy 3:16 and Hebrews chapters 11 and 12.

The Bible is written for the remnant.

The Old testament shows the true believers in the Jewish nation..but even the Old testament shows gentiles believing. The new testament shows the true believers Jews and gentiles.

The Bible is a record of the true worshippers of Yahweh/Jesus.

The Bible was written for All people.

It is divided in three sections, but the word division is rather misleading. As a whole it is One Book.

There is a right, middle, and left.
The middle would be the Psalms of David, which is composed of two points of revealing light, a feminine voice, and a Masculine Voice. Of those two Voices together there are through Psalm 19 3 paths from West to East and East to West .

The feminine voice is below the Masculine Voice. This does not mean that the feminine is unequal. All things in this world, coming from creation begin with a point of creation, then the sea is parted and we cross it as people. The feminine and Masculine in all essence walk together.

The Lord is my compass.

If you would like a reference from a non KJB source: Gospel of Thomas - 30, although there are multiple references to this in the Gospel of Thomas.

Christ is not a divider. Knock and the door shall be opened.

There is a connection to all people living, who have lived, and who will live in the future in the KJB. It's just a matter of looking for that hidden light.

We are All children of God. It is for All children.

This does not mean that one text is any greater than another. If it is relevant to God then it has purpose.

Mark 10:27 "With God All things are possible."

Actually from Genesis chapter 3 we see where God threatens the "snake or satan" with being bruised in the head (living in spiritual darkness) and his son christ will be bruised in the heal (dying for 3 days and being ressurected), so Yahweh / Jehovah (both are equally correct since ancient Hebrew contained no vowels). From this we discern that God had already had a long term plan in CASE Adam and Eve fell (He didn't KNOW they would, He hoped they wouldn't, but He had a plan in case). So because of His thoughtfulness and far-thinking we're aware that God planned the Bible not just for Jews or Israelites but for Spritual Jews and Spiritual Israelites (Christians) who are circumscised not of the body, but of the heart as the bible says. So it was meant for the world, and not just one Tribe of people.

Also, the Jewish nation, while having the Old Testament, doesn't use it, but concentrates on the Torah or only First 5 books of the Bible. Sad.

The Bible means "collection of books". It s divided into two main sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament. So, for us, BOTH testaments were written, as the OT refers to the history of the Jewish people and the Messiah coming, and the NT talks about how the Messiah is here, and how he is here for all of us.

Think about it. We don't have to be a member of a race or culture or class to be part of the club. How cool is that?

The old testiment was written as a history of how the Jewish people lived and how they are supposed to live. In fact, almost all of the old testiment (except for Genisis) has been suppoerted thruogh archeological evidence.

the New Testiment is the story of Jesus' Life and that of his apostles.

They were NOT written for everyone. In fact Jews dont believe a word of the New Testiment.

The Old Testiemtn also does not say anythign about God and Satan, as Satan and hell are inventions ofthe New Testiment.

Lastly, Jesus and Jahweh are NOT the Same. One is believed to be the some of god, the other is the Name of god (and yes, it is extremely inappropriate to use that name)

The verse that came to mind in reading your question was what is possibly the best-known verse, the most-quoted verse, the one almost everyone is familiar with:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but inherit eternal life".

This tells me that God wants everyone to hear the good news, that Jesus came to seek and save that which has been lost. The Old Testament is the promise of the Messiah, the New Testament is the fulfilled prophecy of the Old. This good news is for everyone.

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear".

It was written for all of humanity. The OT is great deal more than just history or historical evidence. It is chock full of prophecies, well over 400 just about Jesus. Jesus fulfilled all of them in His birth, life, death, and resurrection. The prophecies were all given from about 700 years to about 4000 years prior to His birth. For example: the manner of His death was described centuries before it was even invented.

The books in the Bible were written for the people of the times at which they were written.
