He got her from the east. So the Bible says.

She came from the east. The real question is: If Adam & Eve were the first humans and their sons Cain & Abel were the only other humans on Earth at that time, where did this wife from the East come from?

You see, if you can't answer this, then the Bible mustn't be true because all reasoning falls apart here.

Good question and here is the answer. God created man not just one man. Adam and Eve are considered the first because this is the bloodline to Jesus. Matt chapter 1. This is like us calling the present president's wife the first lady. Where do you think the gentiles come from. gentiles being non jews

She was one of his sisters. Incest was tolerated at that time by God as Adam and Eve's children had no-one else to marry and have kids with. The gentiles were also descendents of Adam and Eve but moved to different areas. Part of the family were known as the Jews. In effect, the Moabites and Edomites etc were cousins of the Jews.

according to the non-canonical hebrew text, the book of Jubilee, Cain married his sister. Unfortuneatly, as the Bible prohibts incest, this is a problem. you're taking it too literally and too seriously. don't worry about technical stuff; get the messages.

The truth is... she was one of his sisters. It wasn't incest because those taboos didn't come into effect till much later. Adam and Eve had many children. These in turn had many more. So that they began to build tribes of families. Hence the 'Tribes' of Israel, all of which are named for one or other of Josephs brothers.
