There are many medicines that can cause vivid dreaming. Common ones include antidepressants, anti-anxiety medication and even some insomnia meds. Each person is different and it is difficult to tell how a certain medication will effect a person.

Singulair can give you vivid nightmares. I've also heard some antidepressants give you crazy dreams.

yes, opiates , the mind tries to awaken but the narco effect on the body prevents this, then wala, a vivid or lucid dream occurs, your mind is aware but the body is too doped up to awaken type thing
