Scenario:

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a valley and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level. Both the giant pig and the helicopter are also traveling at the same speed as you.

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?...

First of all...who in the world revealed to you my most haunting nightmare? I'll tell you how I handle this in my dreams. The galloping pig reminds me of a guy I used to date and therefore the idea of running him over is a big temptation. Coupled with that, I am consumed with the idea of slowing down and forcing the helicopter to fly past me, thus creating an exit door for myself but I can't do THIS because I have an irrational fear of flying objects. The damn firetruck is so noisy that the firemen are oblivious to my predictament, thus blocking my exit to the right. I can't risk going to the left because I have a neurotic fear of land that is not level. Just when I think I am going to get hysterical, my alarm clock goes off. As I wipe the sweat from my brow, I get out of bed and breathe a sigh of relief that it was only a dream. Or WAS it? Oh, well, I have no time to worry about it now. I need to get up and keep my appointment with my shrink.

it has happened to me and my girlfriend on separate occasions......so we know, coz we are still here...
increase speed to well above the speed limit, while oinking at the road hog in front,.....
if you are a woman - put your left flicker on and turn left ( this will surprise the fire engine, the helicopter pilot and the valley, coz it never happens that way....while they thunder down the valley in the confusion, make a u-turn and escape.
if you are a man the flicker won't work anyway , continue till a cop with bandy legs stops the pig for speeding , the pig knows the cop cannot catch it, and will take up the challenge, and the cop always tries.... and while they are arresting each other, turn around and find your girlfriend, coz she is going to get a speed fine, and the cops will not believe her story....

Climb out of my car, throw a brick down on the brake, jump the gap to the fire engine, overtake the driver of the fire engine and speed past the pig.
It's a win win situation, not only am I free of those lunatics, I also have a more reliable vehicle that won't break down every five minutes

You have to keep driving the same speed or else you will crash into the fire truck, the pig, or the helicopter.
