I agree with the trust. It is very hard to commit yourself fully to a person when you are always questioning them. Love is based on a trust - the trust that the other person will always be there for you and care for you. If you can not even have the simple trust to believe that a person will act appropriately without 'supervision' then there will never be enough of that trust for love.
It also sounds like this could have been the beginning of a very controlling relationship. Chances are, your ex was insecure with himself and through no fault of your own, took it out on you. Don't worry, things will work out eventually!

Trust is the most important but breaking up with him might not have been the best way to handle things. You should have shown him that you could be trusted.

trust is very important but the most important thing depends on the people. u should let ur bf see u in front of u guy friends so he knows ur not doing n e thing. but u dont want ur bf to be one of those protective types so trust ur heart (thats one thing u know u can trust)

honestly yea i think trust is the most important thing in a relationship..if you dont have trust then u dont have love, and u dont have anything else left...i broke up with my bf because of the same reason....and i still love him but untill he learns to trust me we wont be getting back together...but if ur have doubts about it then maybe you should talk to him about it...if u still have feelings for him

Why is he jealous?..doesn't he trust you?...have you given him reason to not believe you..guys are funny..they are territorial..they kinda look at the girl as theirs..they see other guys (even if you are only friends) as threats to them even if its all about just time taken away from him being with the other guys...you need to talk with him and explain your position..make him understand there is no need to be jealous..however if he is the possessive kind then you will be better off without him...

you cant have trust without honesty.
i smart guy knows that friends who are guys are just the next in line when he's out of the picture.
theres a fine line between jealousy and control.

Your Boyfriend doesn't trust the guys. He knows that they are all just waiting for you to break up for their chance with you

it is true trust, faithfulness and understanding but no man don't like the idea for their woman to hang out with male friends and if this is your concept you will keep on loosing the man you really love.

u did the right thing, a jealous guy is hard to get along with in long run. If he loves u, he should trust you. that's that!
