When I was 18 the guy I thought I was going to marry was everything I could ever want and more, until one day he sent me a break up email (note: he couldn't break up with me face to face). He said it was about a question I asked him the week before which was "Do you love me or is it all about the sex?". But that had nothing to do with it at all. For months I would catch another girl at his dads store where he worked but he would just say they were friends. My mom happened to go into the store in which the girl had worked at the time and overheard her bragging that she was dating my boyfriend and he was planning on breaking up with me that night. Which he did and oh god did it tear me apart. I stopped eating, wouldn't trust another man at all, I would tell guys I just wasn't ready to trust again but eventually I decided to let that be in the past and found my true love( my husband today) and we have two beautiful daughters :). So I guess what I'm trying to say is no break up is an easy one but you just got to move on. Everything happens for a reason and you will find your true love someday.

They wouldn't be the love of my life. If you are under 30, they probably aren't the love of your life. The love of your life would love you back. Someone that left you for someone else doesn't love you back.

I will just walk away. He is clearly not the love of my life anymore if he leaves.

It would bring me crashing to my knees. Then I would have to find something to pull myself upright again for the kids. And I would stand tall again.
