BRING IT UP. Would you rather sit at home waiting for him to remember and then the next few days fighting about him not remembering or bring it up and have a good time? Definently ask him "so what are we gonna do on our anniversary?" and he should take it from there. Now if he says "anniversary of what?" Then maybe you have a problem.

That's OK if he forget cause that's what they do. Any ways I don't think that they really forget sometime they act like it but they plan something really nice. On my 6th dating anniversary I thought the same thing but the next day he had dinner, flowers, and a card. somebody also told me it doesn't matter if he can rember it's if he show you everyday that he loves or care for you. That is what i been doing and we are going on 8 years. I say just in joy it and don't worry about the little things.

This a question that bothers most women..more than less men will forget anniversary's and birthdays..and it's genetic make up..(an apology to the men who do remember) but if you were to poll men and women you would find that lots of men just forget..the female tends to remember these things..do having said all this..plan something special..it is important to you..he may surprise you and remember..I put it back to you to decide whether to mention it or make plans yourself..you know him better than any of us..good luck and don't get your feelings hurt if he forgets...it's not intentional

He probably knows it is your 6th dating anniversary and is waiting for that special day. But sometimes we guys, no matter how important the occasion, can forget things if we are busy with other things in life.

Wow,

This is what happens when you give up the goods for free.

Six-years of dating -- why don't you just forget about it. You're just a booty call and that's not an anniversary worth remembering.

If you want him to observe it, you had better make it plain that this matters to you. Guys don't care about such things, as a rule, and he may not consider a "dating anniversary" to be a real occasion.
Set the groundrules and THEN get POed when he forgets. Don't set him up.

Surprise him, book a resteraunt, but perhaps leave the number lying around or something so if he has also done something on the sly then he can be prepared. If he's forgoten then the sod needs to be reminded what a fantastic g/f he has and that he should appreciate her more.

Instead of setting yourself up for disappointment (in case he does forget), why not knock his socks off with a special surprise day / night out together. Re-create your first date for example.....

Men are very fast in forgetting the events.
You should make him to recall his memory.
Somebody should put the ball into motion.
Why can't you take the lead and do it, without wasting time.
Good luck and happy time dear.
