All branches of the military have jets. And all have female pilots. I would recommend you go to a local airport and take a first flight with a flight instructor. The cost is usually low, around $100. It would give you a good look at what flying is like and what is involved. As for being a fighter pilot, the navy is the hardest because you have to land on a rolling ship. The coast guard does not have fighters, but it may be easier to become a pilot there.
Keep in mind that your grades in high school and college will play a large part in what branch of the military you may get into as a pilot (officer).
I hope this helps.

There are several branches of our military that employ fighters. They are Navy, Air Force and the Marines. However, By the time you would make it into either of those branches, there will not be a "fighter" jet available. All air craft will have what are know as "dual roles". Put simply, every aircraft will be tactial air to air, or air to ground. But the best branch for you would have to be the Marines. That way, you'll have a chance of flying the F/A 22 B or C varient of the Raptor.

Branches of the armed services that have jets are the USAF, USN and the USMC. The USA (army) has a flight training school at Ft. Rucker, AL and trains future pilots in fixed wing and rotary aircraft but not jets. The USMC has the smallest jet force so based on numbers the USAF or USN would be your best bet. Also, the USAF provides the opportunity to fly transports so if you don't earn a slot in combat aircraft you can still fly jet transports. And yes, you will need to be a college graduate.

well there is the USAF and USN and the Marines they all have fighter jets. The only way you can be a pilot is to be an officer. There is female pilots .The USAF Thunderbirds now have a female pilot. The best branch for females would be the Airforce and the navy, Go to your local reciuter office. then there is FAA Flight School. This is for civilians. You have many choices and opputrines to fly .

I would go to North Carolina, because my uncle and aunt says that they send people out by the dozen. North Carolina would be good, and they give good training as I heard. If u want to be in the military then try hear, it's really nice place to be, coastal, warm and cute military boys. It is nice I've been there tons of times to see the fireworks. Give it a shot, u might not be disappointed.

I've actually heard that the Navy has more figther jets than the Air Force since they are typically used more for defense of ships. I don't think your sex really matters, usually vision and quick reflexes are more important.
