I made a survey and found out within my friends that the first child normally will resemble the father more. What do you think?

In our family:
#1 looks just like his dad
#2 looks just like me
#3 is a perfect combination of my husband and me

Not necessarily. I think it's just 50/50 whether the child takes more to the mother or father. Thinking about the people that I know, the opposite is true - the second child more resembles the father in personality and seems to be closer to the dad than the mother.

It could be. My daughter looks exactly like her father, but has my attitude. And my step-son is his father all the way. But then again i think it really depends on the genes. My husbands genes are more dominant then mine.

Our son definately resembles me more. Maybe once he is older (only 9-months-old now), he will start to look like his father a bit more. I hope so, because he is one handsome devil, that husband of mine :)

I THINK THE CHILD WILL RESEMBLE THE ONE WITH THE STRONGER GENES. YOUR SURVEY IS MORE THAN LIKE A SMALL GROUP OF PEOPLE. IF YOU WHERE TO DO A LARGER ONE AND LOOK INTO SCIENTIFIC REASON I BELIEVE THEY WOULD ALL POINT TO THE ONE WITH STRONGER GENES.

that's true in my case. My daughter has looked like her father since she was born. Now she's starting to look like her cousins. Some of her looks are all me but other than that he couldn't deny her for anything.
edited to add.... that was true in my case too. I look like my dad and my little brother looks like my mom

Not really my first child she does look more like my hubby but all my children look like him but my son the second child he is the spit image of my hubby.

i was told that whoever you hate the most while ur prego the kid will look like that which i guess its true cause my 2 oldest look like theyre father and i so hated him just hope this baby doesnt look like my mother in law! awwwwwwwwwwwwwww

My little girl is EXACTLY like i was. Shes a little more girly and I was a little more of a tomboy, but she looks just like me, talks like me, has the same attitude and everything (unfortunately)
