It depends on what you want. If you want highly technical training, especially nuclear engineering or communications, Navy is the way to go. Long times spent at sea can be very rough on your relationships and family life, so keep that in mind.
OTOH, with your writing skills you may be stuck with the Army. Can you say 'Eleven Bravo?'

You are the only one who can truly answer that question. Ask your dad about his experiences. I personally would prefer the navy because you would have a decent meal and a bunk to sleep in. Avoid the army if you don't like getting shot at.

Depends what you want to do.
If you want to be a ground troop, go in the Army.
If you want to fly planes, or be on ships, go with the Navy.
For you, I say go with the Navy, since you know the bases real well, and you have had family in it.
Whatever you decide to do, good luck.

first off your spellings fine , its the internet not english 1A, second it really depends what you wnat to do, its the difference between being stuck on a boat for a year or being in falujja for a year, also check out what jobs they will offer from both services and decide which one you really want to persue. Good luck!!

I am not sure that the Navy would want to recruit someone who cannot spell the name of their Service.
