Dyed my hair the other day only to find that when I took off the gloves, there were holes in them. Now I have 3 black fingernails! I know it will wear off in time, but it looks awful. Any way to get it off NOW!!!!!!!!!

I've been a beutician for 10 years, and I've had that problem before. I've either used developer (what you mix with the color) or bleach with a scrub brush but it's best to do this right after you finish coloring your hair and notice that you have color on you, it comes off much easier. If it's been a few days, you may have to just wait until it wears off.

Try some Seabreeze. I know that gets it off the skin. It'll come off after a few if that doesn't work.
Or You can soak them in bleach - it will take a few times to get it all out. Your nails are porous and will absorb hair color. next time, wear gloves.

You can try some nail polish or rubbing alchohol. One that worked really well for me was skin toner, the kind for really oily skin. That took mine off pretty well, and scrub really hard with a nail brush or loufe, that dye in only on the first couple layers, if you take those off, it will disappear more quickly. Good luck!

You can try using rubbing alcohol. That removes dye. However, if it has gone too deep into the nail, you won't be able to get it all out. You will probably have to grow it out.
