Use vinegar to clean an automatic coffee maker. Let the vinegar run through the cycle, then run through two more cycles using just water.
To clean a coffee pot (glass carafe) use baking soda and water on a sponge. The coffee stains will come off and your carafe will sparkle.

Brew a pot with 1/4 cup vinegar and plain water, You could cool the water off and put it thru again if you want to. Brew a batch of plain water to rinse -- voila clean.

clr works great. just a drop or two in the pot swish it around and it will look brand new. rinse the pot with soap and water like regular dish washing to get it out. or you can use pennies salt and vinegar but it doesnt work as good.

With vinegar and water if there is burnt on coffee used a lemon wedge to scrub it off.. Good Luck

The Acetic acid (vinegar) turns into a mild hydrochloric acid when you add some salt. Plus the salt is a better abrasive. Totally safe.

From what I seen the best way to clean a coffee pot if by making another pot of coffee. No one cleans those things, switch to tea

With vinegar! Pour the vinegar into the coffe maker, plug it up and let it run it's normal course.

Ice and salt... fill up the pot with ice and add a lot of salt to it and then make it go in circles for a few minutes.
