Okay, I'm divulging one of my city secrets here regarding sushi. I'm a large man, and when it comes to foods like sushi - the ONLY way I feel I get my money's worth is "all-you-can-eat", you know? But with sushi, you don't want a buffet where the fish sits out on a platter waiting to be eaten, lingering in a temperature "danger zone" to collect bacteria - THAT'S what can make you sick.
This place is all-you-can-eat, in the style of a complimentary bowl of miso soup and appetizer of tempura vegetables, you choose two of their sushi rolls, and they make them fresh and bring it out to you. And when you're ready, you get to order 2 more, as many times as you can! The only catches are that you must be in a group of 2 or more people, all people must get 2 more rolls, and there's a charge if you can't finish what's on your plate.
The quality of the sushi is excellent, and even if you don't choose that option, the prices are still pretty decent. But with that deal, and 3 people, everyone gets to try up to 6 different rolls with each "round" you get, you know?
The name of the place is "House of Sushi and Noodles" on 1610 W. Belmont Ave.

Here it is - the only place you need to know.
Tsuki on Fullerton and Greenview. Best hands down. I have been everywhere, Japonais, Sushi Wabi, Mura, and so on and so forth.
Tsuki is a gourmet experience second to none. You must try the Volcano roll, but not before an order of the hamachi carpaccio - an unbelievable delicasy I actually crave from time to time. They also have a nice lounge for martinis. I believe they have a website: www.tsuki.us
Be warned - it is not cheap, but worth every penny. They also have a full menu off of which we have tried a number of entrees - all excellent. But we strongly recommend Chef Hemmi's specialty maki rolls. Each one is an adventure in flavor that will leave you reeling with pleasure.
I have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know and every single person I have sent there has agreed with me that it is by far the best sushi joint in town. I know this sounds over the top, and no I don't work there - I really do love it that much and make it a point to eat there once a month.
