I am not sure if there is an income range. Most women, when they are pregnant and apply for WIC are approved. I received WIC for me while I was pregnant and my children received WIC when they were born and at 4 & 5 they are still eligible for WIC.

WIC has higher income guidelines than medical assistance.
The icome ranges vary depending on where you live and how many are in your family.

I reccoemd calling your local office and ask if you qualify, it will save you a lot of time in applying.

I got WIC but I don't remember what I was making when I got on it. The people who monitor the program wanted me on it and were very nice. They wanted to help out in anyway possible. Don't think it is like that everywhere, but I sure am grateful.

Nope, you can be unemployed and get WIC. Actually, a jobless, pregnant woman can not be denied WIC. It's the law in every state.
Go for it if you can.

No - it's based on the number of children you have vs. your monthly income. Actually, the income guidelines are rather lenient.

It depends on your area. My husband and I both worked full time jobs making $12 and $8 /hr and we still qualified.

search for it for your state or county on the internet, and you should be able to find a table listing the requirements
