What drives a person (man or woman) to cheat?

Havent you ever noticed how whenever you do something new... there's a certain inspiration and a high to it?
That's why musicians are so into their groupies and drugs and sex and everything.... because every new experience inspires new feelings and new emotions.
You can be with the hottest girl in the world... sooner or later, there's nothing new about it any more... and the only way you can feel that way again... is to get with somebody else.

I think its a personality trait. I personally feel that there are people that shouldn't be in a monogomous relationship. I believe that a "cheater" is going to cheat no matter who they are in a relationship with or how the relationship is going. Some people just aren't born with what it takes to stay committed.

In my opinion, it's because these are people who are self centered, disrespectful and without conscience. People who cheat do so not because they think it's okay but because they have no real understanding of the concept of commitment and the sacrifices it takes to make a relationship grow and mature.

I have always thought of cheating as a self conscious flaw-Someone having to prove something to oneself. Many men and women I know that have never cheated and truly stayed faithful always have a common theme-because they know they could cheat if they wanted to-so there is nothing to prove.....

Depends on the persons situation. could be lust or needing love, attention even addiction to sex!!
I am originally from Boston and it was very rear that cheating was public knowledge.. Now that i am in Tampa, it is unbelievable how open everyone is about it!
could be on how or where you grow up too!! environmental maybe!
