God is not a being. God is the energy of Spirit, typically referred to as The Light.

The Original Creator who orchestrated The Big Bang was not omnipotent, just rarefied in God Consciousness. No being, no matter how spiritually evolved, is all-powerful. The only thing which is infinite in power is The Light on the Other Side, which is nonliving and governed by Universal Law which cannot be changed.

The First Coming has yet to occur.

God is a way to explain the unexplicable.
Science is another one.

The human being is by nature an inquiring being that not always finds satisfactory answers for everything it asks about. So, using another powerful skill that the human beings have (the imagination) we create the story that we buy.
Some of us believe in some Gods... Some of us believe in science... Some of us believe in UFOs...

Different answers for the same questions:

What are we?
Where do we come from?
Where are we going to?

Hope it helps.

The belief in a god is a very primitive thought because our species didn't know many things a long time ago. Now we know more than we ever have and the evidence shows that the existence of a god is probably unlikely.

Because we continue to push God out of our lives. Everyone always wants to know why God allows these things but they never stop to wonder what would life be like if we stopped evicting God out of everything. We can't have prayer in school, we can't display the commandments at the courthouses, etc. We have in essence thrown God out of the USA and our lives, it's know wonder the world is in the state it's in and it's going to get worse.

God does not allow children to suffer. Where do some of you get these ideas???? You make God out to be some kind of murderer when you have no idea what you're saying!

properly, I see you've a number of of solutions from both atheists and believers, a number of that are fairly insensitive (and each and each and every part are to blame of that). allow me first say that i'm so sorry for the painful journey you're dealing with. that's now complicated to visual show unit someone you want who's death. even as my grandpa died from cancer, it became very complicated on me. there is not any common answer on your question. efficient, i ought to allow you to do not ignore that suffering is the end results of sin, and that that's no longer God's fault. yet why He facilitates strong human beings to struggle through remains an unanswered question. enable me some observations, although. God loves human beings. He does no longer favor them to struggle through. yet He also facilitates human beings to have loose determination, and as a results of that sin and suffering have entered our international. God isn't the clarification behind evil and suffering. He does have a answer to the priority of evil, although. He has promised that there'll be an afternoon even as suffering is executed away with perpetually. i do not ignore that acceptable this second that is hard to remember on God even as it sort of appears like he's letting something so poor ensue to someone you want, yet purely remember that God loves you no remember what you're dealing with and he's continually there with you. study Psalm 103 sometime; i imagine you ought to locate it comforting.

Life happens. Suffering babies suck. Hate to see that. If there was no suffering there would be no joy in this world either. Balance. Why doesn't God stop all this stuff, well That is my number one question when I see him face to face.

What have you personally done to help those little babies?
Why do you blame all suffering on God?
Most suffering is caused by our own greed.
