Leviticus 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

how does the F word blaspheme God?

oh yeah, and are you Jewish? are Christians Jewish? I'm certainly not Jewish, I don't have the will power after everything I've been through in life. so why hold yourself or anyone who isn't Jewish to a Jewish law?

I'd wait until he violates the Sabbath, that way you can stone him twice. You might also check to see if he's gay - then you can make mincemeat out of him - and don't worry, " ..their blood shall be upon them." (Leviticus 20:13).

A good way to prevent biblical "stoner's elbow" is to first walk up to the sinner and knock him down - then just drop heavy ones on his head. There's no use running up a medical bill just because you're doing the Lord's work.

Go back to your church, or kingdom, or synagogue or wherever it is that you go, and have the priest, or friar, or elder or whoever translate the passage into whatever language you actually speak.
I'm pretty certain that you've misunderstood the meaning.
I'm pretty sure that your solution is in direct conflict with what "God commands". I'm also more thab a little concerned about your mental state, but hey, good luck with that attitude.
You should be well on your way to a short, painfully miserable life, fraught with stress related illnesses.

I don't get your question. Using the name of the LORD in vain, or god damming someone or something has nothing to do with the so called "F" word. Unless it was used in conjunction with the LORD'S name... You know, everyone and their cousin would be stoned to death these days by your principle. Just about everyone I know, and everywhere I go I hear this "F" word. It's part of the normal vocabulary these days, unfortunately..........

Well, I'll be damned! Not only did I sleep through the Sunday School lesson on the "F" word, but someone seems to have torn the page with that rule out of my Bible!!
But, I'll tell ya what, if you'll stand there and hold the guy, we'll stone him for you. 'Course, some of the stones might hit you, too, but we need to keep that law, right?

Well, personally, f u c k isnt blaspheming Gods name, so I say dont stone him yet - maybe just get him stoned. Then, when he says "Goddamn, thats some good shyte!", let the stoning commence!!!!

So, Im curious....Jesus taught that he without sin should cast the first stone, meaning to teach to us that we should NOT stone anyone, as we are all sinners. Does this mean that Jesus was actually teaching AGAINST God's word?!?!?!

"And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?...So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."-John 8:3-5,7

When Jesus returned to humble Himself on the cross, He spilt His blood for us so that we might be forgiven of our sins, no matter how many or how bad they are. The story above illustrates that all sins are equal, and if you were to stone someone for drinking or committing adultery, then you migh as well stone yourself, because nobody is without sin. Jesus can forgive any sin, and it is not neccesary for you to stone your son, thanks to Jesus' gift of salvation.

I answered this for another question that was nearly exactly the same.

just wait outside 'til stones fall from the sky. Then, run inside and pray 3 times and shower 2 times. That aught to do it up right.

of course not. no stone should be cast by anyone other than the one of us without sin....that lets me out.

judges were put over the jews in order to deal with the punishing of one for his earthly sins. God alone reserves judgement over the soul.

it is a common misconception that "judge not lest ye be judged" means to not punish, however it is not for us to punish nor judge the soul of our brothers and sisters.

Let's see - do you live in ancient Israel? Does your country operate under the legal system of the old testament with judges and witnesses under the direct authority of God?

If not, I would say no.
