definitely not! Not just because it sounds dumb, but it will really confuse your cats. If their names sound so similar, they will have a hard time responding when you call them. You should wait until you get the kitten and name her based on her coloring or her personality.
If you get a little black kitten and she's really wild, name her Lucifer and call her Lucy for short.
If she's a pretty little tabby, name her Tigerlily and just call her Lily.
If she's a mellow little white kitten , name her Luna, after the moon. Good luck with your new baby!

Don't name the kitty dudett!!! Your kitties will be very confused. Not to mention she might secretly resent you for such a name like Gwyneth Paltrow's kids.
Truly a good kitty name comes from their personality, behavior, or circumstances in your life. They can come from anywhere. I got the name of one of my cats off of a license plate the day he was born. Another from a television show, and the last I matched a name meaning to her personality. I wouldnt name it dudett because they aren't a couple. How about Pixie, Trixie, or Candy. I love those names!!!!
