Absolutely.

As Near Death Experience research indicates, a belief in a god is not necessary to ascend into The Light (i.e., the non-living and infinite Higher Power in the discarnate dimensions that is governed by Universal Law which cannot be changed) to a spiritual plane.

We are judged in The Light Of The God Force by our application of The Golden Rule and by our ability to love genuinely and deeply, which corresponds to our ability to Radiate Spiritual White Light.

Heaven is achieved through deed, not creed.
-- Emanuel Swedenborg

In the Mid Realms of Spirit where the basically spiritual people or angels reside, they like to form communities of combined thought (Group Entities). Many NDE-ers have reported these Cities of Light. In the Mid Realms of Spirit there are Buddhist communities, New Age communities, Christian communities (i.e., the Christian heaven), Pagan communities, Baha'i communities, etc.

Spirituality boils down to one's operational values (what you are and what you do) as opposed to your conceived values (what you believe).

The Light could care less about what you believe, what your religion is or what your god is. All it cares about is your character.

Once the soul is free of matter, it can ascend into The Light to the degree of its evolution. The higher the plane in The Light, the greater the expansion of consciousness and the more powerful the soul becomes spiritually and telekinetically.

There can be spirituality without religion, but spirituality without belief in God doesn't make sense somehow.
Spirituality and belief in God (any) go hand in hand.

It can and does exist with and without a belief in a god. That most human of qualities is present in very culture. It has an unfortunate name, but skeptics weren't consulted when the name was coined.

It is a feeling associated with awe, a sense of connectedness with a reality beyond oneself, even with humanity as a whole. Some have called it the sense of species-being.

Depends of what you mean by spirituality. If you mean having a sense of awe and wonder about the world around you, maybe even a reverence, then YES--no god is needed for that.

the definition of spiritual is: pertaining to or consisting of spirit or soul distinguished from the physical world . . . I do not believe that one necessarily needs to believe in a God to have a belief in our own selves being more than just a physical being . . . is it not more important to address the role of ourselves being spiritual beings then questioning who gave us the spirit that dwells within?

Absolutely!! There is a significant difference between spiritual belief and faith!!!

I believe energy changes form, I believe in the power of nature, I believe in ghosts, I believe in Angels and Demons, but to believe in God...to have faith in one creator...that's a tricky one for me!!!

Of course it can! You can believe something is there, or that the spirituality is in yourself. You don't need something that doesn't exist to tell you what spirituality is.

In true spirituality, God does not remain an alien...he is seen as core of our being.

Yes, because buddhists are spiritual but a "god" is not part of their teaching.
