take your dog into the pet store and ask - just like in the commercials

Our breeder recommended this brand - it's called Chris Christensen and it's popular within the show dog circuit. We bought two brushes, a buttercome (fine brush) for shedding because our dog is really hairy, and a pin brush for grooming and it works wonders! It's pricey but for the price you get good quality, lasts long and your furry friend will love it -our dog loves it when we brush him. Here's the website to buy:

Usually, it depends on the fur type and length. Sometiems in pet stores, they'll have a table that tells you what kind of brush you should use for your dog.

Or you could probably find a website, if you're that concerned.

What sort of DOG?? What sort of COAT??? Ask a pro-groomer! NOT the boobs at the petstore! They're lucky to know which end BITES!

well it depends on the dog i suggest research on petsmart.com or some place like that. the brushes are designed differently for different lengths and textures of fur.
