I am a very social person.. I love talking and hanging out with friends..lately.. I've fallen for this guy I have known for 3 years.. He is definetly of of those people who is shy.. keeps to themselves.. and only warms up to people after a long time.. I wonder what to ask him b/c he just usually responds w/ one word answers. He is an awesome friend to me and i love talking to him when he does decide to be chatty. How can I get him to open up more and maybe even get him to hang out me one on one.. We have a large mutual group of friends.. so everytime we're close to being alone.. there is a 3rd person right there. How should I approach.. b/c he's so shy and I can't figure out the signals he's sending me.. not used to the shy guys.. help!

I'm a shy person,and i think you need to find out what intrests he has and start a conversation with those interests and move on from there. or you can say hello to him every time you see him and get him used to being talked to by you, but then again that way takes some time...

That guy is just like me.
What you can do is dat when he's in the mood to chat, make sure you bring up the topic of you having a crush on him.
Make sure you visit him more so dat you two can have some pricacy.I'm sure things will work out between you two
PS:Make sure you don't talk about it with your other friends or make him hear about it from someone else, shy guys do not like dat.

Just hang out with him and judge if hes really sending you signals or if youre just making that up by yourself. Basicly become a good friend of his and then maybe ask him if hes got feelings for you . All i can tell you is take your time and let him ease up with you before making big moves.

Call him or send him a message and ask if he wants to hang out. I'm a bit shy myself, i dont mind not talking also, if a topic comesup im interested in it is hard to shut me up. Find out what he likes, im sure he wont mind answering questions.

Just make it known that you are interested in him. Ask him out, if he is really shy, he may just really like this. Dont be too overpowering, but let him know how you feel!

If it's because he's shy...you have to be direct. At one of these get-togethers, pull him aside someplace private, wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him...a real kiss...not one of those friend kisses...you can't get more direct than that.
