If you are trying to say that you want to show the scan in order to sell the comic book itself it would be legal. You just need to read the instructions for your scanner on how to save the pics to your hard drive and follow the listing instructions on eBay on how to upload the pic via eBays picture hosting software.

Scan the comic book and save as a jpg (JPEG) file. Save it for internet. When setting up your sale in e-Bay you will want to upload that jpg to e-Bay. You will not be breaking the law since you are allowed to copy any book, article, magazine, or other written material as long as it is for personal use. Using an image of something you own in order to sell it on e-Bay is considered personal use.
