I have been really stick thin since I was a kid. I have been trying to eat a lot, but I am picky with foods. I don't like fastfoods and rarely ate junk foods. If I ate a certain food for a week I would not eat it ever again. I like vegetables and fruits, but that would not help me gain enough weight. I don't think that I am anorexic because I don't starve myself. I don't smoke nor drink any type of alcohol, just water. How can I gain weight without eating fatty foods? Thanks guys.

Doll, there is nothing wrong with your weight. You may not be the most buxom of broads, but believe me, from a clinical standpoint, that's good! And here's the bad news: as you age, you WILL put on weight - and most of it will be exactly where you do not want it! Unless, that is, you keep eating as you do and stay physically active.
I suggest learning to dance - things like the Samba - fast 'n furious, it's an excellent and fun workout - specially when ya can meet some fine and fab young men to do it with! Keep that delectable girlish figure into your seventh decade that way!

I think you need to go to a doctor to get an honest true answer to gain weight healthy. But I do have to say to just eat healthy and regularly. Don't skip any meals. Also if you need to have a snack between each meals like some fruit or veggies but if this doesn't do anything. I do suggest to see a doctor just so you can be happy and healthy.
Hope you find something that helps. Please don't try drugs!

See your doctor. You may not be able to gain weight safely, you might be perfect just as you are.

That being said, you might try adding in some complex carbs, pasta and whole grains. Stay away from the sugar and under no circumstances should you star taking any of that ariticial weight gain garbage. People die from that stuff.

Start some light weight lifting and protein drinks. At what ever gym you choose they should be able to guide you on exercises that most women find ad shape without looking to cut or muscular (most women try to avoid being too muscular.)

To me it sound like you have a body that does not want to keep fat, so some light muscle will give you similar effects.

You might need to balance your diet a little better. You might need to take in more carbs (potatoes, bread, etc) or some other type of food.
