Why do people typecast muslims as bad people?
Islam is actually a religeon of peace!
Islam means submission and obedience to god, and comes from the word salam which means peace!!!

Why is it causing people to fly in to buildings and commit suicide? ITS NOT!!!
This is what people do not understand, yes these supposed "muslim" terroists are using islam to justify there actions, but they can not truly be muslims if they are going around killing innocent people for no reason! They go against everything Islam says!

Did u know islam says god is the most forgiving and most mercifull unless you murder someone out of jihad (War, fighting for ur country or religon)?

That right there clearly states how against murder and terrorism Islam is!!


Many muslims have tried to stand up for themselves and their religon but people refuse to believe them when they give the true meaning of islam and the quran!

Well I read something once that really made alot of sense. See what you think...
all religons have there good and bad people! yes that's right people it is human nature for religons to have there bad people aswell as good whether it be christianity judaism islam or hinduism....the real test lies here...how will people react to religons having there bad people???
Will they type cast all people from that religon as bad, as many people are doing?
Or will they use their commonsense and realise that a few people from a religon being bad does not make the whole religon bad its self?

Islam is not a peaceful religion. It says plainly in the Koran to kill non-believers. There is no such thing as a "militant" muslim. These are simply the ones who fully grasp everything their holy text says and have the fortitude to follow it through. All "moderate" Muslims are simply to weak to do this, or tell lies to themselves about Islam being peaceful. So we're left with either murderers in the name of Allah, or spineless self deception. Either way, Islam has no place in the progress of mankind.

Because it doesn't matter what the religion calls itself, only what it does.
Here's an example: Hitler literally created a whole new German religion when he started his Nazi-propaganda. He based it on the perfection of humanity and creating literal superhumans. The reality was he was just slaughtering Jews, homosexuals, Gypsies, and anyone else that didn't meet his archetype of perfection.
Islam is the same way; it calls itself the Religion of Peace, peace is even in the name itself. The bottom line is, however, that Islam is a religion which encourages the violent persecution of any other ideology. It has spawned men like bin Laden. Even your own prophet led persecution against other peoples. Are you aware of the entire Jewish-Arab tribe he slaughtered in the streets of Medina after the Battle of the Trench? What was their crime? Quite honestly, not being Moslems, like him.

The problem is this;
Islam preaches peace and tolerance but ONLY to other muslims. Did you know that it's not a sin to murder or lie to an "infidel"? It's in the Quran.
The only time they commit a sin, is when it's done against another muslim.
Hence the absolute silence from the muslim community when it comes to thier members bombing tunnels, flying planes into buildings and beheading people.

I understand that Islam is indeed a peaceful religion, but this is where the problem lies. When a few groups high jack the religion and use it to justify death and destruction. The Muslims need to stand up for their religion and take it back from the extremest, but it has yet to be seen.

Some muslims may be peaceful but a majority of them are causing terror all over this world. Sorry, you are trying to convince us all that your religion is peaceful---then why is it causing people to fly planes into buildings and commit suicide? Argue that.

please explain why innocent people (old people, pregnant women) in Muslim countries are killed by soldiers with hi-tech weapons, who in turn, torture captives in the Abu Graib Prison, and sent by a country which teaches 'the Golden Rule' and boast about "in God We Trust", and whines about "everyone should follow the Geneva Convention"

How many people were injured or KILLED when DaVinci Code came out? How much property was damaged? How many death threats? Now compare that to when the Danish cartoon of Mohammad came out. GET IT NOW?!?!?!

It would be nice if the media was always rational and logical. However, the media, instead of informing you, makes you terrified enough to continued watching. More people would watch a program if it was called "Birds: A Secret Menace?" then "Bird Flu is not a Danger to the U.S." Sad but true.

That is a very good question. I would say people study less and assume more. Islam is a religion of peace to all people, except those who oppress and we also defend the oppressed.
