We're from South Carolina. No budget is set at the moment. We will be doing fundraisers until about the beginning of the spring.

I think that the destination is very little of the importance of a church's youth trip.

I attended several in my youth and recall very little of where we went (except one trip to a women's shelter which was eye-opening).

I do, however, clearly remember being lovingly rebuked when I did wrong. I also remember being in the company of several like-minded youth, which was an incredible relief from the pressures and temptations found daily in school and in the community.

My suggestion, then, is to focus the trip on Jesus Christ.

How about a trip to Six Flags or some other theme park. I hear that Six is having a Christian music week sometime soon.

Could you please do me a favor, stop calling yourself Jim Darwin's adversary. At first I thought it was cute but now I'm kinda offended by it. Please be original. If anything you calling yourself this just puts me on an "ego trip" that I really shouldn't be on.

Please, from one human being to another. If me asking you feeds your ego or just fuels you wanting to do this, by all means its a free country.

I just figured from your answers you are a Christian and maybe would do me the honor of listening to me.

The choice is yours, do what you want, but know that at this point I'm kinda "irritated" and heh whatever its cool thats my problem not yours.

k thanks

how about Washington D.C. there are a lot of people there in the summer (to minister to), and it would be a good experience to see the nation's capitol.

I dunno, just try looking up camps in your area and see if they'll book it for you.
