Hi! This is the point I make.GOD is the very essence of unconditional LOVE. GOD/LOVE is WITHOUT judgment because this defines UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.GOD/LOVE is ALL of creation since ALL is from/of GOD.Heaven and hell are states of being.Heaven is the experience of being ONENESS and hell the experience of an illusion of being separate from ALL that is. Yes, I would still believe in the unconditional LOVE that is the basis for ALL of creation. I believe only in ONENESS.ONENESS is ALL you need. It's ALL anyone needs.I believe the Beatles sang it best with; "ALL you need is LOVE".

Yes I would still believe in God. The advantages are that God helps me be the best person I can be. I don't do that just so I can get to heaven. I do it because it's the right thing to do with the life I've been given. I can waste it or use it in a good and positive way. Not only that, but God helps me when the chips are down. He provides for my needs - not wants- true needs. But yes, God also provides some of my wants.

If there is no heaven which means no hell, why would you stop believing in God? Believing in him has gotten you this far hasn't it? If you just all of a sudden stopped believing than what would you be trying to live for now? Believing in something helps you strive for something greater. If all of a sudden you stop believing then there would be nothing to live for. And just because there is no heaven and no hell doesn't mean that there is no God.

If God exists, then we have no choice but to believe in him. If there was no Heaven, would you stop believing in the Moon? If there was no Hell, would everyone stop believing in, say, cars?
God also controls things on Earth -- although his control seems to be indirect. People obey God because he knows more than we do (he can perfectly see all possible outcomes), and he has our best interests at heart. In short, God gives us specific commands because he is trying to help us avoid any unnecessary problems, and he is trying to get us to live to our maximum potential as human beings. God designed us, so he knows what we are here for, and what things may help us or hurt us. Obeying God is simply the best way to live.

Interesting idea and question on "supreme being" ...and challenging to the standard "carrot and stick" dualism that seems so pervasive in us ...
I liked the Bhuddhas Dhammapada saying ... that there are numerous heavens and hells that are "temporal" places of reward and punishment for an aspect of our consciousness ...between our numerous accretions( incarnations ) here ...but only here is there "real sufferring" and real opportunities to transcend the levels of our consciousness ...
Though I "side" with this intangible position - still the value of questioning all always is inestimable IMO ...

I believe our spirit survives our physical death. Can't say for sure what heaven is.
