Wasn't there a black blues musician in the 50's & 60's called Sun Ray?

I think he did a song called "I'm a Man" or maybe it was "Hootchy Kootchy Man"--anyway, some well-known songs that have been covered many times.

Maybe you're thinking of "Sun Ra," but I've always thought of him more as an experimental jazz musician. Those songs you're referring to were done most famously by Muddy Waters.
