We've been dating 4 1/2 months. I feel I am falling in love with him. Is it too soon? I don't want to scare him. I think he might feel the same tho. He tells me "I rock his world" "he is crazy about me", but the L-word means something serious...

if you want a guys prespective, don't say it to him unless you know him pretty well. when he says things like you rock his work and that he's crazy about you, those things have a really wide range of meaning. depending on how mature you think that he is and how serious the relationship is depends on when you should drop it. for all you know he might say it first. however, make sure you are absolutely in love with him and make sure it is mutual. don't say it when you "feel" that you are falling in love, and especially not when you are "falling"....you want to be "in" to say it and mean it

I would wait just a bit if I were you...don't rush anything, be relaxed and appreciate your time together....it's always better to know someone the best that you can before committing to the L word...sometimes you never really know a person.
It might also scare a guy off if you say it too soon, at least that's what I have heard from most men.
Bottom line: do what you honestly feel is right, if the moment presents itself then go ahead!

Why not? four months is a pretty long time. Just tell him, "look, I don't expect you to say it back and don't feel pressured to do so, but i just want to say I love you. Now, what's on TV tonight?"

Don't make it seem like an obligation to reciprocate or make it a big production ("Sit down, dear, I have something very important to tell you.") Just mention it and let it fall where it may. If he wants to say the same back to you, he will

I was in that situation once. It turned out I was wrong, but the L-word reveal still worked out okay. You could always tell him you want to say "I love you" but you're not sure that's exactly what you mean. His reaction may give you your answer.

it's not too soon to feel love. wait for him to say he loves you but when the two of you are talking let him know you love him without saying you love him. let him know how much he means to you, ways like that.

I would wait until at least 6. You want him to take you seriously and to think your being mature about it. The longer you wait, the more it means. : )
