Go to your computers control panel and click on Add/Remove button and look for "yahoo messenger" and then click remove and it will uninstall.

Uninstall the program from Control Panel's Add Remove Programs.

Select Add/Delete from you control Panel and select the yahoo one that you want to delete and follow instructions, it'll completely remove it.

yes control panel add/remove programs. the original may be there if you didnt delete i deleted it because it didnt work for me and now i have the original messenger because the betas and stuff doesnt work on here for some reason.
