You can, as one that lives in apartment I know this very well (stupid laws won't let us have grill on our decks). I suggest some seasoning or marinating in a good steak sauce. I'm a garlic guy myself so I find it pretty appetizing with a hint of garlic. Unfortunately you don't get that great grill taste and using an iron skillet inside is just asking for the smoke detector to go off.

Yes. I did a strip steak on mine a few weeks ago, and it was very tender. Marinate it ahead of time if you want to, and season it with pepper before you put it on the grill (wait to add salt until after it's cooked, since salt will draw the juices out of the meat and cause it to dry out). Cook it for about 7 to 8 minutes on the medium setting.

YES! The foreman grill is good for cooking chicken, pork chops, burgers. For medium - it takes about 7 - 10 mins. Just keep marinating it with the juice trays and keep a watch -you should be able to tell when it's how you want it.

Foreman grill dries everything out. Plus you can't add anything Don't bother. Cook it on a hot saute pan.

YES!!

Use the poke test!

poke the meat... place your thumb on your naughty finger and feel the pad of flesh below your thumb. when the meat feel like that, then it is med. rare.

Point finger = rare
ring finger = med well
pinky = well done.
