For example let's say they guarantee 100 pepperoni on their medium pizza. Do you count the pepperoni when they deliver it? And if there's not 100, would you send it back? What would you do?

I would never count the pepperoni, but when they have delivered pizzas with the WRONG topping I have called and had it sent back. The worst situation that happened was with Dominos and they only had toppings on 1/2 the pizza wrong. My ex-finance was starved and his 1/2 of the pizza was right but the manager said we had to have the whole pizza returned in order for them to deliver a new one so we had to sit around and wait for a driver to come pick it up, take it back, then deliver a new one 2 hours later.
What may have been to make us feel better (or cover their butts as I indicated I was going to file a complaint online with Dominos), but totally miffed us was the brought back the original pizza and said we could have that for "free".

i am not that obsessive, however 100 pepperonis should cover the pizza and then some so if the pizza arrives and there are just a few scattered i will call and complain maybe get a coupon for future buys and remind them they screwed up every time i order but it would have to be burnt before i sent it back

It is impossible to count the topping (unlike many takeaway pizzas were there are large tracts of cheese between something that was once meat), in fact best to eat with utensils as topping literally falls off it is piled so high.

I'm not that obsessive. Thank God, otherwise the pizza would be a mess and cold by the time I flipped through the toppings.
I just eat it glad that its on time and in good condition!
