Would you like there to be A school opended for teen parents?

I want to open A school for teen parents. I have A ten month old daughter and I really want to finish school I am now 19 years old. Please give good answers I am going to show the board of ed these answers..... I need mom and dad answers Come on gentle men?

There is such a school in my city. I'm sure that there is a couple but only one that I know about.

I think that it is a great idea. I can't really expand more on it. All I can say is that it makes sense to provide the same opportunity to teen parents while allowing them to be with their child.

I think it would be an excellent idea if there were more schools that either had daycare centres in the school or even schools dedicated to teen mothers. It is an unfortunate reality that there are more and more teen pregnancies but these children should still be afforded the right to receive a quality education as they would have if they didn't have a child.

While not all teen mothers end up on welfare or other social assistance programs, wouldn't it be wise to provide these young women with an education so that they would be able to go out into the world and be productive, contributing citizens, rather than a draw on society?

I think there needs to be more people out there like you. Mistakes do happen and we have to live with them. And people who make mistakes should have the chance to go to school to.... There are a lot of young girls out there with baby's. And For them to get a good job to raise there baby they need a good education..... I am a 15 year old And i have a lot of friends that are haveing baby's and dropping out of school.... I don't like to see that happen.

well i can see both sides...
some people might say that it would encourage teenagers to become teen parents because they always have something to fall back on, so they would be less careful
but it would also be a good thing because statistically the number of teen mothers is rising and they need to be educated too in order for their own future as well as their child's

What a great idea. Young parents need as much help as possible, it will benefit them, it will benefit the child, and ultimately benefit society. I know numerous young people in our area who have children and struggle to support them, but they don't have high school degrees. It's really hard on them, and they'd welcome such a school if there was one.

many states have added daycare centers so that the moms can continue their education. also there are alot of highschools geared up just for teen moms they are seperate from the regular schools

well, for people who know they made a mistake, by making a baby at a young age, yeah, but for thoses that this would be there ticket out, i mean now they wouldn't have to worry about school cause there would be one.

there are schools like that open now. search them out and contact them and see how they run things before you take things to the school board

No, you should have been thinking about the before you screwed and messed up your lives. Now you need to grow up and get a job. It is wrong for you to have sex before you are married. Now you have messed up your life, you child's life and embarrassed your family. Teens who have sex and/or babies are screw ups!! Plain and simple! You made your bed now lie in it!

By the way, teen pregnancies are avoidable mistakes. If your parents had any brains in their heads they would tell you from a young age that sex is wrong before you bet married.

No this should not allowed because all it is telling kids that it is OK to have a baby and have sex before they become adults. Kids need to be kids and stay in their studies.
