Is there a word to describe the female equivalent of a misogynist?

The equivalent antonym is misandrist.

However, the word is almost never used in modern English and, other than for the pretentious (such as people who prefer the word antonym to opposite), the word man-hater is preferred.

Women can be misogynists too.

Someone who hates men can be described as a misanthrope, but, unfairly, that also (and more often) refers to someone who hates all people.

Women who hate men tend to be called by not-so-erudite names.

Dike. To my knowledge there is no word coined for the female version. The word i mentioned above -check Greek mythology-stands for justice, daughter of Zeus sat next to him and reported on the evil that men do. Peace.
