it is not wrong. people say it is wrong because of their religion, but not all religions say it is wrong. many Christan churches are open to homosexuals attending their services. you cannot help who you are. all you can do is embrace it. so its not wrong to be gay its wrong to think being gay is wrong.

Pssh, no! Since how is it wrong to act in a way that causes absolutely no harm to other people. And for all of you people who claim that it's wrong because the Bible says so, the Bible is so old that it's cultural practices of the time when its parts were written don't apply to today. Unless you live in a part of the world where people are still stoned to death and 13-year old girls are married to older men...

P.S. Even if you did blindly follow the bible without reason or question, doesn't it say to forgive those who sin, so if you really believe that being gay is wrong (which I don't think it is wrong to be gay), shouldn't you act like a civilized person about it and not try to gay bash?

No...Being gay is not new or wrong. In fact I thnk that homosexuality is nature's way of stemming population growth.
Trojan warriors were all gay. Alexander the Great was gay, Leonardo Da Vinci was gay and several Popes, Cardinals, bishops and priests have been closet gays while their followers will tell you it is a sin to be gay. More religious BS.

When you get right down to it, you are who you are and nothing is going to change that.

Being gay is not wrong by my standards. But a lot of people will say yes. THis is something you are going to have to decied for yourself. Being gay is natural God makes people gay therefore how can it be a sin?
I don't believe in God. But I do believe in being gay and it's not wrong.

I agree with another answer that was given. It depends on your beliefs. People can't tell you what to think. They can suggest or even persuade but you should decide for yourself.

I am on the fence about the issue. The word (Bible) says yes it is. So I say yes. But I have a gay sister-in-law. I don't treat her any different or judge her because of it. I believe to each his own.

I don't believe the sexual orientation in genetic.... but I am not going into to that because we will be talking for hours.

it is not wrong because people can not choose to be gay and it is basically the same as being a girl some people are and some aren't

Well, why would it be wrong?

Really it depends upon your point of view. For people who hold religious points of view many will say “yes”, others will say “no”.

From a naturalists point of view, there are many non-human examples of homosexuality. And since man is nothing more than an advanced animal…

Of course I like to look at it from this view: No “thing” is wrong. It’s what we as humans do with it.

It is not wrong, despite what these christian trolls will tell you. You are an okay gay as long as you don't push your lifestyle on others and try to convert them, because people who do that are just horribly ugly people inside.

No. In my opinion it's definately not. Everyone has the right to express themselves in there own way. If it's how they feel then what's the issue? Haven't you ever realized that the only ones who say it's wrong are christains and they say that it's because "God" says that it's wrong. People have religions because they can't think for themselves.
