I'm really good friends with this guy, we've been out on a few dates and they've gone well, but I'm not sure what he thinks of the situation as he doesn't seem to give anything away, either on the dates or afterwards. Do I ask him what he thinks or will it spoil the friendship if he says he wants it to stay as that - friends?

Starting a relationship with a friend is tricky. First you must ask yourself...is the risk worth the reward? There is a very real chance that in the attempt (if he doesn't want to) you could loose his friendship (maybe not permanently though). Be sure first. The reward is a good one though...the best relationships begin when the couple were friends first...it's an intimacy based on truth, unlike when you date and people pretend things.

My opinion...go for it...it's worth it...and if he is a good friend...he will be again if it doesn't work out.

In my experiences I've learned NEVER ever date a friend. But friendships mean more to me than relationships. You need to ask yourself that same question because if you date and then break up the friendship will NEVER be the same. There may not even be one

Next time you're together, undress a bit and give him the chance to take things further.

Take a little risk, don't invest everything yet, just see how it goes... Worst case, he only wants friendship.

He's the guy, let him make the first move in this instance. He maybe a little shy about it and doesn't know how you would take it.

XXXXXXXXXXXX that's a tough one, but maybe he's thinking the same thing about you. Talk to him. Take it slow. Don't put him on the spot with questions. You don't want to chase him away. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
