Illegals get away with crimes we would be booked for?

A police officer called into a radio station, and said in Ocean side, calif, they cannot arrest or book an illegal for misdemener batterie all they can do is give them a ticket and let them go, then they never show up for court, if they have no drivers licensen or Ins, and illegal they are not arrested and car not impounded, they are let go, Why can't we break the law and get away with it. They say they have no room to put them in jail, then why do they have room for us. And if they have no room that means their are thousands commiting these crimes, that showes you they have no respect for our laws and for other people they might injure.

That's the problem. And that's also the reason we (American citizens) can't allow this duplicity anymore.

Sadly, this seems to be true. I have heard from a police officer the very same thing. Why bother with the paperwork when the "offender" will just be given a court date and never show up. Also, our Congress is currently trying to pass legislation which would award illegals with "path to citizenship" for breaking such laws as immigration, tax, identity theft, fraud, etc., all of which citizens would be prosecuted for breaking. Just recently read an article about a woman who the Social Security Department had FINALLY issued a new number because her SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER RECORD WAS SO COMPRIMISED THEY COULD NOT STRAIGHTEN IT OUT. Seems that there were/are more than 200 illegal aliens using her number. Some of the things she had been through: investigated and billed by the IRS for $15,000 in back taxes in the last 3 years and she had not worked in 5 years, loss of a job opportunity after her son started school because of something that had happened on a worksite in Texas by someone using her Soc. Sec. number and name even though she had never been in Texas, 8 hours of interrogation by Border and Immigration officials after spending a day in Mexico with her husband and was held as a "FELON" upon trying to re-enter the United States as some one using her Soc. Sec. number/identity had committed a felony under her name. All of this SHE had to research and come up with proof that she was WHO she was and try to clear her name. According to Social Security info and tax info that she managed to glean, this situation with her "number" had been known by those departments for a number of years but NOTHING had been done except to dunn her for back taxes SHE DID NOT OWE. And then SHE had to accept a NEW NUMBER with the possibility that, when needed, her record may or may not reflect HER history. But, hey, Congress says we should just not bother with all that and accept being the ones "punished" while the perpertrators get rewarded.

Actually undocumented immigrants can be arrested. If they don't have a license they are given a ticket and/or arrested and then when failing to show up to court and warrant is issued. They don't get preferential treatment within the justice system. And many avoid committing any crime because if caught that will impede them from ever becoming legal.

I'm a Vitim of similar experiences. I've had two car accidents and in both cases it was two illegal aliens without proper documentation. Both cars were new when purchased but old and in good conditions when the accidents occured; so I only had liability. However; I was the one that lost out and have no avenue to get theses individuals to pay. If I were at fault I would have been jailed, car impounded, fined, and would have lost my license. But not for theses guys; why better treatment for foreigners in our country?

Well, I say what I've said so many times before ... if the administration thinks it's OK to break one law ... the immigration law ... then in the name of fairness it should be OK to break ALL laws ... right? So, why pay taxes? Why pay speeding fines? Nobody cares about the law any more .... Heck ... why not go and steal somebody's ID and run up bills at that person's expense? After all, I might be a POOR HUNGRY ILLEGAL ALIEN ... and that makes it all OK .... right?

I can tell you for sure that if they drive without a license they can impound the car and take the person to jail and DO. They also take them to jail for batterie, I think the cop in question was just inciting hatred, or your info is wrong.

The officer is sadly correct, since they are illegally in the country, they are not really here, and therefor our laws do not apply. It is a legal loop hole, that illegal voters have put in to place to protect themselves. On the other hand the officer is required to retain and call in NIS to pick up the illegal alien, and that practice is seldon carried out by our local police. I know that where I live in Texas they are now being to enforce the law and many of our hispanic council members are concerned about the loss of illegal votes, and trying to pressure the police to return to old practices. However, too many complaints from citizens has pretty much squashed their efforts. Because of the mass hiring of police, and the large population of them are hispanic, I have become concerned as to how many of the new police force is legal, and have possed this question to my city's mayor, as has many of my friends, and family. It is not policy to verify citizenship for a police officer, city offical, or government officals. Background checks are done but not made public, as is required by the Declaration of Independence. Candidates tell people exactly what they have been saying for two hundred years, but have no history, or little history that gives validation to what they say. This next presidental run should be interesting. The people like Mr. Bush are not so much in favor with the American people, and they are looking for a fresh new face, one with the character, and willingnes to exhibit respect toward the American people. The American People are afraid of the Party system that has dominated, and ignored the American people since world war II. They slander of each other's reputation, while they themselves have criminal records, such as DUI's, and violence.

The American people have become aware of the delicate condition of our country, and the part that our own government is playing in her demise. That is what is going to change in
America, angry Americans will accept no less. Our laws is what has protected our country from becoming as corrupt as other countries, and now through fear of terrorists, which has always been a problem in America, it is nothing new, we have allowed our civil freedoms in the country to be ignored.
The Nazi's encouraged others to follow them by making the people feel they could not protect themselves. Laws were imposed, and millions of innocent people died.. Americans are already showing they are taking a stand, and that has already begun to change back in to favor for the American people. As soon as our safety, and health is secured through border control, and immigration enforcement. Our current laws with a little tweeking and enforcement are good enough. We have the most liberal immigration laws in the world, they do not need to be changed. Just enforced.
Then it will be time for Americans to take a full stand. In the last election we all didn't turn out, yet we turned out in record numbers to vote on the last presidental election. And, was lost by Mr. Bush, he demanded a Florida recount, until he was once again president. From the people, and friends, and family that I have been encouraging to join others to once again protect our country through their votes, and to stand tall, and VOTE!
We have little time to find the right candidate for president so start checking around. Look for the underdog with bite. That is the type of President that has always kept America free. That candidate is out there, and busting his/her butt, but they are buried beneath the corruption of our government, and it's politics, and wealth. Which is just another violation of our Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence is what protects the Americans from the corruption in our government, not the Constitution. Our Constitution is our laws designed to protect each other from each other.

Yeah,it's the old "catch and release" game for illegals!! They NEVER show up for their court date either!! If we did HALF of what the ILLEGALS do,we would be sitting in a 9x5!!!
I say,we ALL stop paying TAXES,and see how they like THAT!!! What are they going to do,arrest EVERYONE??!!!!

I think they have the same problem in other countries. If you were to travel and break a law, you might be able to get away with it just because you are a foreigner.

Thats a load of crap! They have to at least take them in for booking and then probably let go, but not just ignore that a crime was commited.
