English IS a difficult language and I'm impressed you're learning it. The reason it's so tough is because there are two very different grammar systems. English in the very beginning was a Germanic language (like German or Dutch). A lot of the "base" words for English like "the," "a," and "that" are part of this grammar system. In 1066 when Normans invaded England they were able to merge their Latin or Romance based grammar system into the language. That's where we get a lot of our words. For instance, "cow" is an Old English word and "beef" comes from the Old French "boef." We use cow to mean the animal and beef for the meat of the animal.
If you want to improve your English, the best thing you can do is watch lots of English and American television shows. Good luck!

People say englisn is easy. It most certainly is not. I'm a native speaker and I'm glad I am because English is so inconsistent and arbitrary, it's really hard to get the hang of with patterns in conjugation and stuff like other languages, because often the patterns don't hold and straight memorization is the last resort. My mom is from Venezuela but now she's lived here longer than there. Her english is better than some native speakers. She's told me the key to her learning when she was in her late teens was that she had no fear of embarassment or anything when talking to english speakers. She took every opportunity to speak and was a foreign exchange student for a year when she just started learning.
I think courage, perserverance, and seizing every opportunity---those are the keys.
Your message above is easily understandable, I think you're on the right track. And kudos to you for learning it in the first place.
Good luck!

English has more adjectives than any other language, and lots of rules that are meant to be broken at times- so it is complicated! Some ideas to help you become more comfortable with it are: 1. Listen to music in English.
2. Read books in English, even children's books with stories that are already familiar.
3. Find a pen pal and write in English.
4. Use the web to find word puzzles and games in English that you can play while learning.
5. Remember when talking to foreigners that most people realize it is a struggle to learn a new language, and they respect your efforts. So don't be shy- just patient!

I am also improving my English But I remember only that I can speak English.Everyone suggest you to listen English on Radio. But I want to tell you to listen English with watching TV because if you don't know any word when you only listening then you are not come to know what mean is stand for that word? But when you are listening with watching then you will come to know what did that character in according to unknown WORD!
Every native English speaker doesn't have English knowledge by Innate i.e. from Birth. He listen & observe what other person react on that perticular word or sentence & he everytime &from sarting he try to talk in english. You do that same thing, Start to learn Basic English & then go forward then you will not confuse!
Good Luck!

Well, considering we have something like 27 different tenses (that is a lot more than the usual) I'm not suprised it's so hard to learn. Our language follows many different rules, normal word order has to be changed in order to say certain things and our spelling is all over the place.
Good luck.
But, your message there was perfectly understandable, I can only hope this is for you.

Speaking English is like using a muscle...you have to exercise it to make it stronger. My advice to improve your English skills are to listen to English radio or television, practice common English words and phrases, and most importantly, speak English as much as possible.

English is a rough language. I'm just glad I grew up speaking it because I'd hate to have to learn it as a second language.
All you can do is study and practice, just like with any language.
