As and England fan I enjoyed the ihaterooney.com site but was a little disturbed that it is from a Rangers fan base. Is this a sectarian site based on the fact that Rooney is a catholic. if so it is in bad taste, if it's just anti-English that's fine as it is just good banter.

Newsflash: Rangers hates Catholics.
Newsflash: Celtic hates Protestants.
Newsflash: People get murdered in Glasgow every year because they are wearing the wrong football strip.
And it's not "good banter" to abuse somebody for their race or colour but somehow sinister and unacceptable to do it on the basis of their religion. It's all wrong.

the site didn't work on my machine, maybe that's for the best. I know Glasgow well (I grew up next to it and worked in some of its stranger quarters) and I'd say that anything that looks like sectarianism probably is. It stinks.

Probably just another excuse for some hun to spew his anti-catholic bile and hatred all over the internet. It's pathetic....

So if it had been from, for example, a liverpool or newcastle fan base that would have been all right then? Is that what youre saying?
