Is this Christian right regarding infant baptism, that it "sends people to hell".
I know the good Catholics will want to weigh in, but before you good Catholics do, please read the website.

Just a tidbit:
Infant baptism has no warrant in the Scriptures. Many efforts have been made to find such warrant, but these efforts are too feeble to merit serious consideration. But did not the Lord Jesus say, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me"? Yes, He did; and there is no objection to suffer them to come unto Him. The question here is the bringing of infants who are too young to come by themselves. There is no authority for such a thing.
SO NO, NO I DONT WANT MY 3 YEAR OLD TO GET BAPTIZED

No! It does no harm,it just doesn't have to happen until the child understand and chooses whether or not to follow said path. Peace.

I found the article flawed and biased although quite compelling. If you are not a believer in some sort of Faith, do not do it. But the LARGER question here is "What will it hurt?" especially if there is a rift with the couple's beliefs. The child does not physically change and as stated, cannot comprehend. So can we therefore resolve that infant baptism is more for the adult community of the Church?
I believe that when Adam and Eve defied God they committed the most grievous of sins. I was taught that as a result, we are all born "marked" with it. To "save" each of us from a lifetime of being an outcast with God, we are baptised as His children, accepted until we are old enough to understand the teachings of the Church of God.
We all have the ability to choose right from wrong and as adults can make our own decisions based on our life experiences. But should children be denied this very deep-rooted blessing because someone told their parents it's a one way ticket to Hell? I think the parents would be better to read a LOT of books written by a LOT of religions who have various ceremonies that are "harmless to the participant" but rich in meaning to the faith they are seeking to be a part of.

I myself was born to two non-practicing Catholics. They intended to have me christened by a priest, but since they were up-front with the priest that they had no intention of becoming practicing Catholics themselves or raising me as one, the priest said, "Why bother having him christened, then?"
Personally, I feel it was very valuable to me that I was never christened because I never had any illusion growing up that I belonged to the Christian faith. I do believe that people who are baptized as infants tend to rest in that baptism rather than recognizing a personal commitment to Christ is what is really needed to have assurance of one's incorporation into the kingdom of God.
From what I have read in early Christian documents so far, infant baptism might have been practiced in some Christian communities, but the practice was by no means universal or doctrinally mandated.

Infant Baptism is an invention of the Cult.
It has been done historically in non christian groups.
Anabaptist got slaughtered by the Cult for the terrible heresy of following The Bible!

Just by simply baptising a baby does not mean that it will either send them to Heaven or Hell. When the baby reaches the age of accountability, the baby, just like all of us, has the choice to either believe in Jesus Christ and be saved, or not believe, and continue to live in sin. Whatever decision a person makes...THAT is what determines where he/she will go when this life is over. If he/she accepts the Lord Jesus and is saved, he/she will live eternally in Heaven! And if he/she chooses NOT to believe, and NOT to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, they will spend eternity in Hell.
See: Romans 3:23
Romans 6:23
Romans 10:9

Baptism is a way to share with the world that you have accepted christ as your savior
i dont agree with infant baptisms

Infant baptism is a proclamation to the world how a couple intends to raise a child. It is a ritual of faith, nothing more.

We baptize infants so that if they die, they will go to heaven, guaranteed. Besides better be safe then sorry. Anyway if when the baby grows up, he wants to leave then that is his choice.

I think that anyone who accepts a particular form of the Almighty should be making an informed choice, not forced knowingly or unknowingly into it.
