This is a man who doesn't like anything, wants nothing, needs nothing and yet if you don't at least make an effort, he gets hurt easily.

So, anyone have any suggestion? I've tried pretty much everything from clothes that he'll give as gifts later, shoes / slippers that he won't wear, tools but he has more than most people have, and now I've run out of ideas.

I need help!!!!! Please, please, please help me.

I was going to say how about sending him and your mom to a bed and breakfast for a weekend, or a weekend at a cabin near a beach or lakeside. Then there's always a casino weekend, you can send him and you mom to a casino, to stay in the hotel for a night or a weekend. My mom was the same way, just like your dad, but she always loved the casino thing. Think about it....best of luck..........

Give him a gift card to his favorite store that way you won't have to be stressed out about what to give him and he can go and pick what he likes himself.

Something made by yourself, also something that is unique like a cap with his name on it. In general something that tells him you thought of him. Also a big hug, a smile and a kiss
