Leviticus 15:19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

I told her she only has to do it one week out of the month and she started crying about how it was cold and raining out. It's not my fault that god wants to wash away her uncleanliness.

Should I stone her for not obeying me?

It is a damn good thing that I am not married; there is nobody to kick me out when I get my period.

As crude as this answer is.......

Would you stone a man for having a "wet dream" and call him unclean, or is it just a part of living as men.

Not every woman's cycle is seven days.

It's only cold and raining out if a man treats her as such. If you are implying that she may express "real pain" what is the problem with asking for some compassion and love. Women are not objects, we are people.

The point of the written word is the carry on wisdom from one generation to the next so that our children have an opportunity to learn from our mistakes. This Living Word changes over time and container for the Word changes, but it is like energy, never created nor destroyed but simply changes with the changes of humanity. It in terms: sheds it's skin and renews itself. The wisdom of God walks with humanity, men and women.

All people have an equal place in the world or they would not have been given the gift of Life.

Two people can look at the same statement and both see different things. The point is to do your best to seek after the Living side of any understanding.

This law is under the old testament. This does not apply under the new testament. Stoning her is not necessary.

And the tent was necessary back then because they didn't have tampax and maxi pads. Hygiene required a lot more work. A lot of blood near the usual house could lead to illness and so forth for the family.

no, you're no one to stone your wife for not obeying you.
god said: if no one has sinned, then cast the 1st stone..
so what u r saying is that u r perfect right?
come on, no one is perfect but god. we're all far from that.
u need to have some more respect for your wife.stop disrespecting her.
especially on this website. how would u like it if she did this to u? i'm going to pray for u.
don't bring god into this situation. you're using god the wrong way in this. respect your wife's wishes. if she doesn't want to sleep in the tent for a week, then don't force her. i sure wouldn't either. if it's cold & rainy outside too, come on-be more sensitive to your wife. wait until it's a beautiful day or even a week. u r being too unfair.
you're no one to judge anyone either, especially your wife. only god can.

Dear sir if I were your wife I would tell you I was impure all the time and I would probably move into that tent forever. But since I know you are trying to be goading and not serious. Have a blessed day! But by the way no where in this scripture does it say to stone her.
Peace of Christ be with You,
Debra

Shouldn't you be stoning her Aunt Flo too since "whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even"?

No she should divorce you for being an idiot!! If you were to read further in the Bible you would know that we are under New Testament times. Maybe you need put the rock down and look in your own box of offenses, anything worth stoning come to mind, ask your wife bet she can think of some.

Being apart doesn't mean putting her in a tent outside, it means don't have sex with her.
Just ta let ya know when Jesus came he kinda changed everything. He set 2 rules to obey: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and love your neighbor. The sermon on the mount is good to read, it breaks down the commandments.

Yeah stone her. It helps with the cramps. Don't try to legally buy the medicinal marihuana though, because the govt. doesn't want you to be able to. You'll probably get in less trouble if you just find a reliable dealer.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I suspect that you're not really interested in following the laws laid out in Leviticus -- rather, you're interested in picking certain isolated, out-of-date Bible verses in order to throw rocks at a religion that doesn't jive with your lifestyle. Hence your need to discredit and defame it.
