in my line of work,it is so hard to get people to work on sundays i really admire companies like chick fila that are closed! i understand medical profession.

Some professions have no choice! Others choose to work sundays cause it is financially beneficial to them. Others, just because thats what they decided to do. I think you do what you have to. If you dont have to, then you shouldnt, after all the bible says that you should keep the sabbath day holy!

I have had to do it, but I volunteered because I know a lot of people want to go to church whereas I do not have a regular church to go to. I do not think it right---especially the last couple years when the Post Office had to work on Sundays due to the winter holidays. Even worse that so many places are open on holidays now.
Although it is convenient for places to be open on Sunday, it would be nice if no one had to work on Sundays & could be with their families.

It's no big deal to work on Sundays. We Americans do tend to be overworked but I feel as long as we take 2-3 days per week for ourselves and our well-being, it doesn't matter what days of the week we are actually working.

Personally, I won't work on Sunday's. Thats family day. It's my day to be me. I haven't worked a Sunday in over 5 years. Every job I've gotten over that period of time, I just told them I couldn't work.

Weekends are here on Thursday and Friday, so I work every Saturday and Sunday. But coming from Holland it never feels completely OK!
