I am 5'11" and I like this guy who is 5'9". Height has never been an issue for me but recently he asked me for my exact height and has been distant since. I told him that my height can sometimes be an advantage, he didn't respond!!! Please tell me that this man doesn't have a complex about 2 inches......

For guys, that two inch difference is like a two feet difference because they feel inferior if they are in any way shorter than their girl. For instance, they feel like you have to protect them if some fight were to occur. You can't get pass the male egotistical mind even if you have a great personality.

Some guys feel intimidated by girls who are taller than them because they dont seem to be the dominant person of the couple at first. Personally I've dated a girl who was taller than me by a few inches but it wasn't much a big deal for me. It just dependes on the person I guess.

He does. Most all men do. I am a bit taller than my husband and he is very sensitive. I never wear heels when we go out and a long time ago when we got married he made sure for our wedding photos that he had something to stand on so he looked taller than me! lol

At some point in life, men who are short wish they were a little bit taller and vice versa, that's just how it is.

Sorry honey, but it does matter! A man feels less manly when his woman could beat him up. Trust me, I'm 5'10" and I cannot remember the last guy who was shorter AND interested!!

that is weird, i mean usually its the girls who would be concerned about dating someone shorter than them.....it might be weird for me to date someone taller than me considering the fact that i'm 6'4" but that seems like a really stupid thing to be concered about for him

it doesn't matter to me, but I am 6'2", it would be a shame if he did find it intimidating, he had to ask, it must not have been important before that time...why now? That is what I would ask him

first off, if he has a problem with it ..it's his problem not yours sweety.Secondly, I loooovve tall women (I'm 6'3" myself)thirdly "Everyone is the same height lying down"and finally, if he only has 2" maybe that's his problem ;)
