We ate on these like, picnic tables and benches that folded up into the wall, as our cafeteria was also the gym!

In grade school we had a lady who was a very good cook.
The menus they printed in the paper were not always what we got. She would use the stuff they sent and make other things.
She was a good cook and we had good lunches.
Boy were we shocked when we got to junoir high and the food was awful.

Kids vomiting on the floor and the janitor putting what looked like sawdust on the puke before cleaning it up. Happened a couple times a week.

Wrapping myself from head to toe in selotape and doing log rolls. The gave me a free cookie for the amusement!

How the rice stuck together like glue, they would scoop it with an ice cream scooper and it stayed in that shape. The worst thing is that I loved it.

Awesome chili cheese fries and gross chicken nuggets. Didn't eat the chicken nuggets passed 2nd grade. The thought of them not makes me quiver.

People having their bags of Cheetos and Doritos and instead of neatly opening them, They POP THEM!! and everyone would turn around and stare for seconds.
