I dont see where it says that God is a self-destructive God, but hey... the bible is very interpretive.

God is perfect forethought, hindsight and present. God is a non-gender specific perfect love in Spirit for all of humanity, as well as ALL other things in our universe.
The Creator and God are not one in the same.
There is a big difference between "be ye like gods" and God.
That being said, God left the Creator in charge over all things manifested in a corporeal existence.
To suggest that God would destroy himself would be like suggesting that Life all together should end.

An all-powerful God could probably destroy himself, but why would he want to?

The BIBLICAL GOD is NOT omnipotent. one proof is written in Hebrews 6:18
"That by two immutable things, in which it was IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: "
But because of this limitation, we are assured that He is indeed a VERY CREDIBLE GOD.

I believe as long as there is love god will exist. God cannot be destroyed by itself, just as love cannot destroy itself it only grows. Only hate can destroy love.

He probably could destroy himself, but he would break one of his own commandments if he killed himself. thou shall not kill, even if it wasnt a commandment he wouldnt do such a stupid thing.
