If 3 is all you want (and that seems a very reasonable family size), and you can't imagine a scenario that would change that - divorce and waiting bio-kids with a new husband, death of a child (I thought we were done 3 years ago, but had a tragedy), or when there are no longer any cuddly babies around the house.
I would note that getting his snipped is a much easier operation. Out patient office visit, all better in a few days. And it is easier for him to store some extra in the freezer than for you. Men tend to be more hung up getting "fixed", but it is cheaper, easier, and there are fewer risks of complications with a vasectomy.

Yes, if you don't want more children. I'm 31 Today(happy b-day to me lol) I have a 7 year old daughter and I lost a daughter 3 months ago and i just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant again, but I will not get my tubes tied until I have 2 more children, I want 3 total, it is really a decision for you only and what your heart tells you

That would depend a lot on you. Personally I've seen women that handle several children better than ones that I've seen that can't handle one. If you're one of those women I see in the grocery store that has three kids and no control over any of them I would say yes, tie them babies up because you can't control the ones you have. However if you're the women I see that has three kids who act as respectful children, I say rock on baby. The world could use some more mothers that are at "home" instead of "out to lunch"... if you catch my drift. LMAO

That is a personal decision. I had my tubes tied at 23 after one child. I have never regretted it. My girlfriend had one child and tubes tied at 28. I can say that if you know you don't want any more children, it is the best way to go. It gives you complete peace of mind in the pregnancy department. You still have to beware of sexually transmitted diseases, though. So use condoms if you are not in a monogamous relationship!

Well i had mine tied at 25, marriage fell apart and am now with a wonderful man and have to pay approximately $5000 to have them untied. May i recommend the birth control shot or the pill instead, or even better make him go have a vasectomy. Only takes him 2-3 days to recover, you'd take at least a week before your moving right again.

YOu are still very young, and are more than capable of having more healthy children. I would not advise putting yourself through an unneccesary operation, especially one that you cant change very easily once it has been done. YOu may decide later that you want to have more children, so for now, consider different forms of contraceptives in order to prevent future children rather than making such a permanent decision

That totally depends on you and your husband. I have 3 kids and I can't afford to have anymore. So me and my husband decided to tie off and I'm 34. You can always untie them if you choose to have more kids. If you speak to your doctor, he will give you more info on it. But it's not as permanent as most think. You do not get pregnant, but should you choose to have kids again you can have it undone.

What does your husband say? That needs to be a decision that you and him discuss and agree on. Make the choice that is best for your family. Tube tieing isn't always the best solution? COMMUNICATION is key.....

If you don't want anymore kids, go for it! Otherwise you'll probably regret it. If you're worried about the age issue..you could wait until you're 40. Right now you have a way to go before you're past the baby age.

I did after two kids at 26. I knew I didn't want any more children. If it is the right decision for you and your husband it is the easiest form of birth control.
